Why We Keep Working

This community has no water. Yes, you heard me right: human beings in Puerto Rico are living without access to the most basic building block of life — and next door, people living with no power for seven months. But we won’t allow them to be “los olvidados,” won’t let our brothers and sisters be forgotten. This island needs and deserves so much more. Our #ChefsForPuertoRico team spent the day high up in the mountains of Coamo cooking piping hot paellas with tons of vegetables from local farms to fill the bellies of kids and adults alike with fresh, nutrient-dense, real food.
