Did you know we serve FLOSN (fresh, local, organic, seasonal, non-GMO) scratch-cooked breakfast and lunch to the entire student body at this public elementary and districtwide (and expanding!) everyday? Within budget and surpassing nutritional guidelines! Plus a garden and nutrition curriculum! Our brilliant Turning Greenteam has rocked it for five years strong and I love love love helping at lunch — and bringing along friends to lend a hand and experience the magic.
